RefocusED is a structured school intervention platform that helps staff identify needs, deliver targeted support, monitor progress and produce clear evidence of the support provided.
RefocusED is designed for schools and education settings supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, SEND, communication needs, attention difficulties, adverse experiences and barriers to engagement.
RefocusED currently offers eight interventions. Each intervention addresses a different area of need. Build and Bond is being developed as an additional intervention and is clearly marked as coming soon.
Each intervention contains six structured sessions. Schools can schedule these sessions according to the needs of the pupil and the capacity of the setting.
Each RefocusED intervention includes structured session guidance, staff resources, pupil activities, assessment tools, progress monitoring and intervention specific CPD available through the platform.
Yes. Intervention specific CPD is available within the RefocusED platform. The wider CPD and training video library is still in production. Schools can also contact RefocusED to request webinars and online training sessions.
Yes. Schools can request a 14 day trial to explore the platform and understand how it could support their setting. Trial access is arranged after a short meeting with our team, and the 14 days start from your first login.
The platform brings together baseline information, session records, progress measures, pupil and staff feedback, follow up assessment and reporting. The intervention model is informed by research and supported by evaluated pilot evidence.
RefocusED provides a clear intervention pathway, ready to use resources, centralised records and automated reporting. This reduces the need for staff to create separate systems and documents for each stage of support.
RefocusED uses encryption, role based access controls, named user accounts and documented data protection arrangements. Refocused Ltd holds Cyber Essentials certification and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. Schools remain responsible for deciding which pupils receive support and for using the platform in accordance with their own policies.
Access is limited to authorised school staff and authorised RefocusED personnel where this is required for support or administration. Pupils, parents and external professionals do not receive platform login accounts.
No. RefocusED supports structured decision making and consistent evidence collection. Schools remain responsible for safeguarding, SEND, pastoral and professional decisions.
