This policy explains how Refocused Ltd (“Refocused”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on refocused.uk and the logged-in Refocused platform. It should be read with our Privacy Notice.
Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which can also store or access information in your browser. In this policy, we use “cookies” as a convenient term for all of these technologies.
General browsing of refocused.uk and submission of website enquiry forms currently do not set cookies or browser storage. We do not use analytics, advertising, profiling, heat-map or session-recording cookies.
When a user chooses to log in, we use first-party cookies and limited browser storage for authentication, multi-factor authentication, account security, session management and user-requested functionality. These technologies are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Security: The four named authentication cookies are first-party cookies for refocused.uk and are configured as Secure and HttpOnly.
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) allow cookies and similar technologies to be used without consent where they are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user, including authentication and account security. We use the authentication and security technologies above on that basis.
Interface preference storage is used only to remember choices selected by the user. Users can change or reset those choices within the platform. Because we do not currently use optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner.
If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy and obtain consent before using them where required.
We review this policy when our website, platform or use of cookies changes. The latest version will always be published on refocused.uk. This version is effective from 16 July 2026.
